Actually, I have chromium installed on my other Ubuntu (I always dual boot two versions, one for stability, the other for features.) ...and whenever something kills my X11, I make due with elinks. I tried dillo a few times, meh, it's not GTK either. Same with Opera.

Midori, Epiphany, Firefox, and Safari 4 in WINE here.

When it is complete, Midori will be the best, but after Epiphany switches to Webkit, I expect it to catch up quickly.

If it's not a native GTK app, it doesn't work with gnome-globalmenu, so I avoid it whenever possible. Abiword for Writer, Gnumeric for Spreadsheet, etc.

I have boatloads of browsers, too. For better or worse, I have been rather decisively stuck to Firefox after discovering TreeStyleTabs and (most importantly!) Feedly.

I never thought I would be interested in a web-based feed reader (since it defeats the fun of having news feeds on the go), but this thing is just too awesome. Until either Feedly starts working in Epiphany and Chrome, or Liferea starts being like Feedly, I am sufficiently locked in to Firefox.
Thankfully, 3.5 is pretty awesome :)
