ERally sorry for jumping into the wrong area. I’m Feroze from Chennai. Ive been using Ubuntu for 6 months and am kinda bored as it is very.. um.. n00bish.. I’m game for something more complex like fedora.

I’m basically looking for Fedora 11 DVD. But its too large to dload on a 128kbps connection. I couldnt find any Gtalk or Yahoo chat so I’m posting here.

Do you use any IM?

Feedly is an awesome piece of work. Thanks for the pointer.

Actually, I have chromium installed on my other Ubuntu (I always dual boot two versions, one for stability, the other for features.) …and whenever something kills my X11, I make due with elinks. I tried dillo a few times, meh, it’s not GTK either. Same with Opera.

When it is complete, Midori will be the best, but after Epiphany switches to Webkit, I expect it to catch up quickly.

If it’s not a native GTK app, it doesn’t work with gnome-globalmenu, so I avoid it whenever possible. Abiword for Writer, Gnumeric for Spreadsheet, etc.

For better or worse, I have been rather decisively stuck to Firefox after discovering TreeStyleTabs and (most importantly!) Feedly.

I never thought I would be interested in a web-based feed reader (since it defeats the fun of having news feeds on the go), but this thing is just too awesome. Until either Feedly starts working in Epiphany and Chrome, or Liferea starts being like Feedly, I am sufficiently locked in to Firefox.
Thankfully, 3.5 is pretty awesome 🙂
