The fonts that can be obtained from the site here display the following information. Now, how is one supposed to package (there isn’t a defined upstream as much as I could fathom) and redistribute (especially Bangla Akademi.ttf) them ? The fonts by themselves are fairly nice and, that’s a sad aspect as well.
And, an evaluation version of the BitRock Installbuilder seems to be used for creating the font installer.

Do upstream gave any explanation for not releasing ttf files in a tarball?
I see fontforge gave many messages when tried to open “Bangla Akademi.ttf” font file. Same messages can be obtained by using fontlint command on font file. Also,No license information included in this font file.
One can also check more detailed information about font using command “fontain ” on Fedora.
@Parag – I haven’t actually asked because there isn’t a proper “upstream” in the actual sense of the word. This, to me, appears more like, “we have released the font and go figure” way of releasing. You do know how it is.
